Throughout the year, the Pontifical Mission Societies support the proclamation of the Gospel, the building of the Church, and the work and witness of mission priests, religious Sisters and Brothers, and lay pastoral leaders. These missionaries provide food, education, and medical care to the most vulnerable communities in the Pope’s missions. Through their work, they reveal the compassionate heart of Jesus. Help support their efforts ~ and be right there with them, offering hope.

Praying in Christ’s School of Mission
In this Sunday’s Gospel, Jesus teaches not just about prayer, but how to truly pray—with trust, persistence, and hearts oriented to the coming of God’s Kingdom. This reflection explores the Lord’s Prayer, the call to missionary intercession, and the gift of the Holy Spirit as the heart of Christian discipleship.
Body of Blessed Frassati, relic of Blessed Acutis will be in Rome for Jubilee
During the Jubilee of Youth, a first-class relic of Blessed Carlo Acutis and the coffin with Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati's body will be in Rome for veneration. After their canonization ceremonies were moved to Sept. 7, it is an opportunity for young people to learn more about and be inspired by these two important saints-to-be.
The True Missionary Disciple of Christ
In the home of Mary and Martha, Jesus offers a profound lesson for every disciple: service matters, but listening comes first. This Sunday’s Gospel invites us to rediscover the “one thing necessary”—attentive, loving presence at the feet of Christ—and to root all mission and action in the Word we receive.
