Throughout the year, the Pontifical Mission Societies support the proclamation of the Gospel, the building of the Church, and the work and witness of mission priests, religious Sisters and Brothers, and lay pastoral leaders. These missionaries provide food, education, and medical care to the most vulnerable communities in the Pope’s missions. Through their work, they reveal the compassionate heart of Jesus. Help support their efforts ~ and be right there with them, offering hope.

Proclaiming the Wisdom of Life (the Wise Life) in God
When a man asks Jesus to intervene in a family inheritance dispute, Christ responds with a powerful lesson about mission, detachment, and divine wisdom. This Sunday’s Gospel challenges us to resist greed, seek what is above, and become rich in what truly matters to God.
Learning to communicate with honesty, prudence can help heal world, pope says
During his general audience July 30, Pope Leo XIV urged Christians to foster honest communication and healing in a world suffering from violence, hatred and social media overload. The gathering also came during the July 28-Aug. 3 Jubilee of Youth, and he encouraged young people to open their hearts to God's healing love, so that they could become "even brighter beacons of hope in the world."
Praying in Christ’s School of Mission
In this Sunday’s Gospel, Jesus teaches not just about prayer, but how to truly pray—with trust, persistence, and hearts oriented to the coming of God’s Kingdom. This reflection explores the Lord’s Prayer, the call to missionary intercession, and the gift of the Holy Spirit as the heart of Christian discipleship.
